Forklift Operator in Mooresville, IN-$20 per hour

Shifts currently available:
1) 9:30am to 6pm

Job Responsibilities:

• Unloading Materials: You’ll unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them in their assigned places.

• Stock Movement: Locating and moving stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.

• Quality Control: Identifying damages and reporting shortages or quality deficiencies.
• Transporting Raw Materials: Safely transporting raw materials to production workstations

Job Qualifications:

• Forklift Certification: Having a valid forklift certification is essential. This demonstrates that you’ve received proper training and can operate a forklift safely and efficiently.

• Experience: prior experience operating a forklift is advantageous. Experience in warehouse or production environments is particularly valuable.

• Physical Fitness: Forklift operators need to be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects. Good stamina and strength are important.

• Attention to Safety: Safety is paramount in this role. You should be familiar with safety protocols, including proper handling of materials, loading and unloading procedures, and safe navigation within the facility.

• Attention to Detail: Forklift operators must pay close attention to their surroundings, especially when maneuvering in tight spaces or around other workers and equipment.

• Communication Skills: Clear communication is crucial. You’ll need to coordinate with other team members, supervisors, and truck drivers.

• Reliability and Punctuality: Being reliable and punctual is essential for maintaining production schedules and ensuring smooth operations.
